Privacy notice
This page explains what happens to the information you give us on nearwork.co.uk. It is written plainly on purpose.
Who we are
Nearwork is a proposed coworking concept exploring its first location in Dundonald, Northern Ireland. [Operating company name, address and contact email to be added before launch.] Until then, you can reach us through the registration form on the home page.
What we collect when you register interest
- Your name, email address, postcode and the area you chose.
- Your answers about membership, how often you would use the space, how likely you are to join and, if you add them, timing, what matters to you and any notes.
- Whether you ticked the optional box for marketing updates, and the time you ticked it.
- The date and time of your registration, and if you arrived from an advert, the campaign tags in the link (for example "facebook").
- Your IP address and browser type, kept only for spam and abuse protection.
Why we collect it
- To measure demand. The purpose of this website is to find out whether enough people want a Nearwork space in Dundonald to justify opening one. Your answers are counted, in aggregate, for that decision and may be shown in that form to potential investors. Your name and email are never shown to them.
- To contact you about the proposed location, if there are developments, because you registered interest in it.
- To send marketing updates about locations, availability and memberships, only if you ticked the optional box. You can withdraw that at any time by replying to any email or using the form.
Website analytics
We count page visits, button clicks and form submissions ourselves, on our own server, without cookies and without any third party analytics or advertising platform. Each visit is recorded under a one way daily code derived from your connection, which cannot identify you and changes every day. Your form answers are never sent to advertising platforms.
Where it is kept and for how long
Your details are stored in a database on our own server in a data centre operated by IONOS, protected by access controls, and are available only to the people running Nearwork. We keep registrations until the first location decision is made and for up to 12 months afterwards, or until you ask us to delete yours.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw marketing consent, at any time. Use the registration form with a note, and we will act on it. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
